Specifically developed by Mentor for managers and supervisors responsible for overseeing forklift use on site. This course provides managers/supervisors with the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage the use of forklifts in the workplace, and proactively uphold safety.
It empowers them to recognise and rectify bad practices, resulting in a significantly reduced risk of accidents, injuries, damage, disruption and the associated costs, thereby ensuring compliance while contributing directly to profitability.
Managing Forklift Operations’ is accredited by AITT as being suitable to meet the requirements of UK health and safety legislation, specifically, the Approved Code of Practice for - Rider-operated lift trucks L117 and regulation 9.2 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
